Daffodil is really a common name for Narcissus and it’s what we think of when referring to a trumpet variety. Our mixture is a selection of all the varieties we have in stock including trumpets; small cup; large cup; bi-colours and double forms of narcissus. Including whites, yellows, pinks and reds displaying the full array of what these locally grown bulbs can do.

How to Plant

Plant Daffodil & Narcissus Naturalising Mixture ideally before November to get the roots started, but they will still perform if planted into January. They can take most soil types and are fully hardy.

Plant 10-15 cm deep and anywhere from 5-10cm apart. You don’t have to be too precious; watch this video of us planting a 25kg sack of bulbs.

Once they are planted they shouldn’t need any additional care.

Daffodil & Narcissus Naturalising Mixture bulbs are repellent to squirrels and deer although slugs and snails can make a bit of a mess early in the year.

Over time your Daffodil & Narcissus Naturalising Mixture will naturalise by spreading seed and by dividing. Just make sure you leave the foliage to die back so they come back the next year. It can take several years for bulblets and seeds to develop into flowers. See our 25kg sacks to get great value for money for larger projects or see our mix of miniature narcissus for even more variety.

The flowering times range from February to April so you will get a prolonged flower display. Plant them ideally before November to get the roots started but they will still perform planted into January. They can take most soil types and are fully hardy.
